Despite the college’s remote location, not all college faculty live in Middlebury proper. Among professors, there is a growing community of “commuters” who live outside of the town, but still work at the college.
An extension of the Middlebury Snow Bowl Seasonal Pop-up Shop is now open for business in Proctor basement, which before spring 2020 housed the Middlebury College Store. The Pop-up Shop sells ski supplies and gift items, and will be open through the end of the semester.
