In the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, the universities and colleges of the affected Gulf Coast states are facing problems that range from structural damage to displaced faculty, staff and students. Several institutions are rallying against these setbacks and have reopened, while others were forced to close their doors for the Fall '05 semester in hopes that they might reopen in the new year.
