We have decided to release this statement in an attempt to clarify the situation, legitimize our perspective, and uphold how these events have affected us as a group and as individuals.
This past week, we were angry. We were disappointed. We were not surprised.
National politicians and news media have painted Middlebury as being at the center of an irreconcilable conflict of values.
