To the Editor:

Alina Levina for SGA President!

Alina Levina has worked diligently as Co-Director of the SGA Diversity Committee. At first, I was hesitant to let an underclassman take on such a demanding position, but was certain that among my committee members, she was the one constantly e-mailing me about new ideas and most vocal with her opinions. She is a supreme example of what the underclassmen have been able to accomplish in such a short time here, and a testament to the fact that Middlebury works hard to accept into its community qualified, hard-working and extremely intelligent individuals. She is running for SGA President and I extremely encourage you to support her, as she is one of the next powerful female leaders on this campus.

I have read her platform, and I hope that you will each do that as well, and understand that experience is not everything. Oftentimes, we dismiss those who are younger and label them "inexperienced." Alina, if elected, will make things happen on this campus. We continually ask why the SGA exists. If she is elected, I am sure you will all find out. Her fervor, passion, intellect and drive are admirable qualities she possesses. Vote for Alina Levina and you will not be let down.

She has been an outspoken asset to this campus, and I am confident that she will continue to speak on behalf of the student body if elected to this position. Use your vote to make a difference at Middlebury, vote for Alina Levina!

Sincerely,

Lauren Curatolo '06
